May 25, 2005 a memorable day for Croswynd.  

 “Lou”  was selected as one of an elite group to greet 
the breed’s most loyal and royal patron, the real Queen Elizabeth II.  

On hand to dedicate the Centennial in Edmonton, 
Alberta, CAN,  her Majesty stopped to ask the names 
of the Corgis as she came by.  She asked specifically 
after Lou.  "Which one is the therapy dog?"  
Lou received a cordial visit with her Majesty when 
he was pointed out for his therapy work with 
disturbed children and long-term care patients.
